Avoid harassment, threats, dehumanizing language, and personal attacks
Respect privacy and refrain from recording or sharing another person’s story
Make room for quieter voices and avoid domination
Distinguish impact from intent and participate in repair when harm occurs
Follow facilitator direction, time boundaries, and safeguarding procedures
Accountability
Facilitators may redirect discussion, pause participation, document concerns, or remove a participant when necessary to protect safety and program integrity. Final procedures should explain reporting, review, appeal where appropriate, and emergency escalation.
